International Recognition!

NaFisH, in collaboration with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), has brought pride to the nation by winning a Gold Medal at the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF 2025) through its innovation, Streptokit – a rapid diagnostic kit for identifying Streptococcus, a fish pathogen responsible for Streptococcosis disease.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, Streptokit was also awarded a Special Award by the National Research Council of Thailand.

Congratulations to Dr. Azila Abdullah, Director of NaFisH, Muhammad Syafiq Mohd Ridzuan, researcher at the Fisheries Research Institute (FRI), Dr. Rimatulhana Ramly, and the entire team for this outstanding accomplishment.
